Hey! I’m Breanna,
but you can call me Bre
As much as I love being behind the camera or looking at a screen editing my heart away, I love to travel! I always find adventure but I think adventure finds me since traveling is my love language. I tend to always hold my camera on me so I can capture the adventures right in front of me but if you catch me not holding my camera then most likely I’m holding my best friends hand, Will. Aka my husband ;) So whether I travel from the busy cities to the high mountains or east coast to west coast, I’ll always have exciting stories of endless adventures to share with you!
But that’s not all. If you don’t find me behind a camera or exploring the world I am at one of many of my favorite coffee shops but my top five is called Throughgood Coffee located in the heights. Mainly because next door is taco truck in their parking lot called Soul Taco. Bomb dot com tacos there. I’m craving that just expressing it to you! (insert drooling emoji) So if there is ever coffee + tacos involved in our hangouts, we’ll be instantly bffs.
I’d love to tell you about my story because, we all have one. My photography journey started when I picked up my dads Canon back in the Summer of 2015. I then started to explore the city with friends and other photographers. My now fiancé, Will, is one of them and he introduced me into the world of creating magic within a camera. My perspective and eye for photography has been changed ever since then and it will continue to blossom!
This hobby of mine turned into something more. Will and I decided to launch our part time photography business as landscape and portrait photographers in the Summer 2016 - Fall 2018. My heart for photography has grown into something beautiful. I decide to quit my full time job being a photographer assistant for lifestyle + wedding company in January 2020. With lots of prayer and faith its been on my heart to pursue my dream which is to go full - time with my photography business March 2020- and here I am! Yes two weeks before the pandemic hit the US. It was nerve wrecking yet amazing things happen. The transition of an entrepreneur and business owner for your own business that was launched out in faith has been the best decision I can make and beautifully profound to be in. God had my purpose planned out since day one when I picked up my dads camera back in 2015 and Im excited that I get to share my gift with Houston and beyond! Because it’s more than about documenting your madly - in - love life but building a relationship with you and being a Lover of the Light.
“And if I have all faith so that I can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2
My faith and relationship with my Heavenly Father has radically changed my heart from the inside out because I am a Lover of the Light. Which means I literally am in love with golden hour light and the light of this world - God. I am constantly learning to extend an invitation to all my earthly relationships within my circle of family, community, peers, and clients to display true love just as God has loved me first. Let’s move mountains together!
